ReSource has successfully completed the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for Megasol LEVEL building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) modules. The EPD has now been independently verified and published in the International EPD System, providing transparent and credible environmental information for the product.

An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is a standardized, third-party verified document that communicates the environmental impacts of a product throughout its life cycle—from raw material extraction and manufacturing to use and end-of-life. EPDs enable manufacturers, architects, engineers, and project developers to make informed decisions based on reliable environmental data and support sustainable building practices.

Megasol LEVEL is a building-integrated photovoltaic solution that combines the functions of a roofing material and electricity generation in a single product. As part of the project, ReSource carried out a comprehensive Life Cycle Assessment in accordance with applicable international standards and Product Category Rules (PCR) for photovoltaic modules. The results were independently verified before the EPD was published.

This project highlights ReSource’s expertise in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), and sustainability consulting for manufacturers. As demand for transparent environmental data continues to grow, EPDs are becoming an essential tool for demonstrating environmental performance, supporting green building certifications, and meeting increasing market and regulatory requirements.

We are proud to have supported Megasol throughout this process and congratulate the team on the publication of their EPD. We thank them for the excellent collaboration and look forward to supporting more manufacturers on their sustainability journey.
